마나(Mana)가 풍부한 신비로운 세계인 벨로스 대륙에서, 망자의 군주가 수많은 영웅들의 희생 끝에 봉인되었다. 그러나 대다수의 지역은 이미 폐허가 되어 있었고, 많은 국가들은 멸망하거나 명맥만을 이어가고 있었다.
남아 있는 국가들은 대륙을 복구하기 위해 이종족들과 연맹을 결성했으며, 200년이 지난 후, 동쪽 끝의 라이노스 지역에서는 두 개의 거대한 탑이 솟아오르며 에테리움이라는 보석이 발견되었다.
In the continent of Belos, a Mana-rich mystical world, the monarch of the dead was sealed at the expense of countless heroes. However, the vast majority of the region was already in ruins, and many nations were either falling apart or continuing their existence.
The remaining nations formed a league with these tribes to restore the continent, and after 200 years, in the Rhinos region on the easternmost tip, two massive towers were raised and a gem called the Etherium was discovered.

망자의 군주 추종자들은 에테리움을 이용하여 망자의 군주의 봉인을 풀기 위해 라이노스 지역으로 몰려들었다. 놀란 연맹은 몰려드는 망자의 군주 추종자들을 막기 위해 영웅들을 파견했다.
Etherium has been discovered to energize life and enhance mana. Taking advantage of this news, there were signs of division within the League as competition for influence over the Rhinos region intensified.
The deceased monarch's followers flocked to the Rhinos region to unseal the deceased monarch using the Etherium. The Nolan League sent heroes to stop the flocking monarch followers.

파견된 영웅들은 그곳에 성역을 만들어 망자의 군주 추종자들과 맞섰으며, 파견된 영웅들끼리 경쟁하거나 협력하기도 하며 국가의 영향력을 높이도록 노력했다.
그로부터 10년 뒤, 동쪽 끝 작은 왕국 출신인 주인공은 파견단의 단장으로 임명되어 왕국의 영웅들과 함께 라이노스로 떠나게 되었다.
The dispatched heroes established a sanctuary there to confront the followers of the deceased monarch and tried to increase the country's influence by competing or cooperating with the dispatched heroes.
Ten years later, the main character from the small kingdom in the far east was appointed as the head of the contingent and left for Rhinos with the kingdom's heroes.
